Pushpa Kamal Dahal elected from Rukum East

Pushpa Kamal Dahal, coordinator of the Nepali Communist Party, has won the House of Representatives election from Rukum East.

Dahal was elected with 10,240 votes.

CPN-UML candidate Lilamani Gautam received 3,462 votes, while Kusumdevi Thapa of the Nepali Congress received 3,081 votes.

Pragatisheel Loktantrik Party’s candidate Sandeep Pun received 203 votes.
