Nepali Congress (NC) Vice President Bishwa Prakash Sharma has stated that the party is ready to send the prime ministerial candidate to Tundikhel for discussion.
Speaking at a program in Mid Baneshwor on Thursday, Sharma said that the party is ready to send the proposed prime ministerial candidate Gagan Thapa to Tundikhel noting that Thapa possesses experience, enthusiasm, and maturity.
"If any individual is to be viewed not just as a prime minister, but even as a ward chair, one needs to look at their background, culture, qualifications, contributions, and vision," Sharma stressed. "Regarding all these matters, I want to tell my friends in the media—you have been wanting to call him. If he needs to be presented at Tundikhel, we are ready to send our prime ministerial candidate with full energy for a debate with other candidates."
He mentioned that the party's proposed prime ministerial candidate and President Thapa, possesses experience, enthusiasm, restraint, and patience, as well as a vision. He also pointed that NC is the only party to have fielded candidates in all 165 constituencies.
