Hamro Party Nepal registered under Khagendra Sunar's leadership (Pictures)

Hamro Party Nepal has been registered with the Election Commission under the chairmanship of Khagendra Sunar.

On Monday afternoon, Sunar and his team arrived at the Election Commission office with fanfare and received the party registration certificate.

They had submitted an application for party registration on November 4.

The party’s election symbol is "Like" (the thumbs-up symbol).

After receiving the registration certificate, Chairman Sunar told journalists that he will contest the election from one constituency.

"If KP Oli and Ramesh Lekhak were allowed to contest the elections, I would contest from their constituency. They cannot contest the elections since they face legal cases," Sunar claimed. "I will contest from one constituency. Hamro Party Nepal will come to power through elections and elect the prime minister."
