The death toll in the Gen Z protest in Kathmandu has reached 14 after three more persons breathed their last at the Everest Hospital.
A doctor at the Everest Hospital told Setopati that three persons who were brought there for treatment have died. Similarly, six persons have died at the Trauma Center.
Likewise, three have died at the Civil Hospital, and one each at the KMC Hospital in Sinamangal and the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH).
The protest, which started at 9 am on Monday, later turned violent. Police used tear gas and water cannons, and eventually, opened fire.
