Police interrogated Phanindra Pathak, communication secretary of former king Gyanendra Shah. on Friday.
Superintendent of Police Apil Raj Bohara said that Pathak appeared before the District Police Range, Kathmandu, on Friday after being summoned.
Pathak was brought to the police range for questioning over the use of a letterhead that addressed Shah as "Shree 5 Maharajadhiraj" (His Majesty the King).
"Pathak was brought in today for questioning because he used the title 'Shree 5 Maharajadhiraj,' which is not recognized by Nepal’s Constitution, and referred to the office as a 'communication secretariat,' which is also not recognized by the Constitution," SP Bohara explained.
