The foreign department of ruling CPN has not been invited to the interaction program with the Communist Party of China (CPC) to share experiences of operating the party.
Deputy chiefs of the foreign department Surendra Kumar Karki and Bishnu Rijal confirmed with Setopati that the department has not been informed about the program to be held through video conferencing Friday afternoon. Senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal heads the department.
Around 100 CPN leaders including CPN Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Chief of the party's school department Ishwore Pokharel will participate in the event jointly organized by the school department and the international liaison department of CPC.
Dahal and Pokharel will be the only CPN leaders to speak from the party office in Dhumbarahi while other leaders including those from the seven provinces will only listen.
Chief of the international liaison department of CPC Song Tao, deputy chief Guo Yezhou and others will participate on behalf of China, according to Pokharel's personal secretary Dipendra Shrestha.
Shrestha revealed that the event will be held through five personal computers from China and 15 from Nepal. "Discussion will be held with CPC about how to build a strong ruling party," he stated. "Experiences of both the parties will also be shared."
