President of Kaski Football Association Milan Gurung, who was slapped by provincial assembly member of CPN from Gandaki Deepak Manange, has also been arrested a day after Manange was arrested.
Kaski Police said Gurung has been arrested on Friday following complaint of banking offense and dupery on Thursday.
SP Dan Bahadur Karki told Setopati that arrest warrant in the name of Gurung was sought from the court Thursday itself. "Different persons have lodged complaints of banking offense and dupery against him. He has been arrested for investigation of those complaints," SP Karki stated.
The Kaski District Administration Office, meanwhile, has granted custody of Manange, real name Rajeev Gurung, for two days for investigation.
Manange was arrested from a hotel at Lakeside in Pokhara immediately after casting vote in the National Assembly election on Thursday.
Gurung had lodged a public offense complaint against Manange with the District Police Office, Kaski on Wednesday.
Manange had manhandled Gurung before inauguration of the Chief Minister Cup Football Tournament at Bhandardhik, Lekhnath in Pokhara on Tuesday.
