CPN has called secretariat meeting Monday afternoon.
CPN Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal will chair the meeting to be held at the party office in Dhumbarahi while another chairman and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will not attend the meeting due to ill health, according to Dahal's secretariat.
PM Oli, who returned to his residence in Balwuatar after staying 10 days in the hospital, has convened the Cabinet meeting later in the afternoon.
Dahal had discussed the agenda of secretariat meeting called for Monday with party leaders at his residence Khumaltar on Sunday.
Senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal, General Secretary Bishnu Paudel, secretariat member Ishwore Pokharel, and deputy head of the school department Devendra Paudel had reached Dahal's residence for the meeting.
Dahal was granted executive rights on November 20 and he has started to convene party meetings after Oli fell ill.
Dahal had convened the secretariat meeting on December 4 that asked the lower committees to send review of the election for House of Representatives (HoR), provincial assembly, and local bodies.
