CPN candidate Bidya Bhattarai has built up a seemingly unassailable lead in the election for House of Representatives constituency of Kaski-2.
Bhattarai leads with 14,879 votes almost double of 7,850 secured by Khem Raj Paudel of Nepali Congress (NC) after completion of counting in wards 16, 17, 21, 29 and 33 of Pokhara.
CPN-UML candidate and Bhattarai's late husband, Rabindra Adhikari, had won the constituency in the last general election.
