Bomb explosion near election rally featuring Dahal in Pokhara

A bomb has been detonated near an election rally featuring CPN Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal in Pokhara on Wednesday.

"We have heard an explosion. There has not been much damage," Chief District Officer (CDO) of Kaski Ramesh Kumar KC told Setopati.

CDO KC added that the explosion occurred around 200 meters away from the election rally in Naya Bazar, Pokhara. The bomb went off when Deputy Parliamentary Party leader of CPN Subas Chandra Nembang was addressing the rally.

Dahal reached Pokhara to address the election rally organized by the ruling CPN.
