Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has continued his diatribe on Tuesday claiming that India has treated Nepal like Pakistan by issuing the map including parts of Nepal.
"India's behavior has showed as if Nepal and Pakistan are same," Deuba told media persons at the Biratnagar Airport en route to Dharan for by-election. "India first printed Kashmir's map and then that of India including Nepali land. This Indian behavior shows that Nepal and Pakistan are same."
Deuba asked why India has printed the map including disputed parts of Kalapani and Susta to treat Nepal like Pakistan.
Deuba, who claimed on Sunday that India issued the new map after consulting Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli, on Monday said Oli is being submissive on Kalapani issue and is, therefore, not a nationalist.
He accused the government of not taking diplomatic initiative for return of the encroached land on Tuesday. "We had told the government to resolve the border dispute during the all-party meeting but it has yet to take initiative," he fumed.
