Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli hosted a dinner party for ministers including outgoing ones at his official residence, Baluwatar Saturday night.
PM Oli, who reshuffled the Cabinet Wednesday night, invited all the incoming and outgoing ministers along with their families. "It was an informal family gathering. We all had dinner and returned," a minister told Setopati.
Almost all the outgoing and new ministers attended the gathering but ministers from Socialist Party Nepal gave it a miss.
PM Oli had sacked six ministers and three state ministers, and replaced them with new faces during the Cabinet reshuffle.
Hridayesh Tripathi, Ghanashyam Bhusal, Lekhraj Bhatta, Rameswar Raya Yadav, Basanta Kumar Nembang and Parbat Gurung are the new ministers while Moti Lal Dugad, Nawaraj Rawat and Rambir Manandhar are new state ministers.
Raghubir Mahaseth (Physical Infrastructure and Transport), Lal Babu Pandit (Federal Affairs and Local Development), Tham Maya Thapa (Women, Children and Senior Citizens), Chakrapani Khanal (Agriculture), Matrika Yadav (Industry, Commerce and Supplies) and Gokarna Bista (Labor, Employment and Social Securities) were sacked along with state ministers Surendra Yadav (Health), Dhan Bahadur Buda (Tourism) and Raj Kumari Chaudhary (Agriculture).
Deputy PM Upendra Yadav (Health) and Bhanubhakta Dhakal (Law) swapped their ministries.
