The ruling CPN has appointed central committee member Binda Pandey as incharge of the party's expatriate coordination committee.
CPN Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha confirmed appointment of Pandey after completion of the party's secretariat meeting at the prime minister's official residence in Baluwatar Sunday evening.
"A coordination committee has been formed to establish unity among expatriate Nepalis and to play a role in protection of expatriate Nepalis even though our party does not have policy of forming a committee abroad," Shrestha stated.
Laxman Panta will be deputy incharge of the coordination committee and Yuba Raj Chaulagai the chairman. Sri Prasad Sah has been appointed secretary and Dilu BK member of the committee.
