The Constitutional Council meeting called for Wednesday has been postponed due to the ongoing Nepal visit of Bangladeshi President Mohammad Abdul Hamid.
Deputy Speaker Shiva Maya Tumbahamfe told Setopati that the meeting has been postponed as the leaders are busy Wednesday meeting the visiting Bangladeshi president.
Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba's associate Bhanu Deuba also confirmed postponement of the meeting that was scheduled to make appointments to different commissions. "We have been told that the Constitutional Council meeting has been postponed. President Deuba currently is in a meeting with Bangladeshi President Hamid," he stated.
