Minister of State for Industry, Tourism and Environment of Far West Prakash Rawal has resigned on Sunday.
Rawal has submitted resignation to Chief Minister (CM) Trilochan Bhatta aftar a fraud and forgery case was registered against him at the Kanchanpur District Court. The Department of Money Laundering Investigation has also launched investigation against him.
CM Bhatta said the CM's office will provide information about Rawal's resignation shortly.
Rawal was elected from Kanchanpur 3(B) during the provincial assembly election.
He has been accused of fraud related to share ownership of Janajyoti Edcational Foundation worth Rs 160 million.
