Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli has held discussion with the main opposition leader Sher Bahadur Deuba at the former's residence in Baluwatar Monday.
PM and CPN Chairman Oli, Nepali Congress (NC) President Deuba, another CPN Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and other leaders discussed about appointing leadership of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC), Commission for Investigation on Enforced Disappeared Persons, and other contemporary issues.
The leaders discussed about resolving the cases related to the conflict period, according to CPN leader Subas Chandra Nembang who also participated in the meeting.
"No solid decisions were taken during the meeting. It was a meeting of ruling and opposition leaders," Nembang said. "There should be discussions from time to time while moving forward. Conflict-era cases especially the bills were discussed."
