President Bidya Devi Bhandari will visit Myanmar Wednesday on invitation of her counterpart Win Myint.
President Bhandari will hold bilateral talks with Win Myint who will host a State Banquet in her honor during her five-day state visit, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated issuing a press statement on Sunday.
State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi will also call on President Bhandari.
She will meet the citizens of Myanmar of Nepali origin in Pyin Oo Lyin and also visit Bagan, a UNESCO world heritage site, and the former capital city of Yangon.
Foreign Minister Pradeep Gyawali, foreign secretary, secretary at the Office of the President and other high-ranking officials from the Office of the President and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and media persons will accompany President Bhandari.
