Chinese President Xi Jinping to visit Nepal Saturday

Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit Nepal on Saturday.

Xi will arrive in Kathmandu on invitation of President Bidhya Devi Bhandari on Saturday and return the next day, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed issuing a press statement on Wednesday.

Xi will meet President Bhandari who will host a banquet in honor of Xi and the Chinese delegation, according to the statement.

He will also hold official talks with Prime Minister (PM) K P Sharma Oli. The two leaders are expected to sign bilateral agreements and memoranda of understanding after the meeting.

Senior political leaders will also meet Xi who will arrive in Nepal after completing his India visit.
