The ruling CPN and the Communist Party of China (CPC) will sign on a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for mutual cooperation on Tuesday.
Chief of the foreign department of the party Madhav Kumar Nepal and Chief of the International Liaison Department of CPC Song Tao will sign on the MoU in presence of CPN chairmen KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
"We had similar pacts with the CPC even in the past. There were such MoUs with the then CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Center) but it was not signed after party unification. We are, therefore, signing on one now," deputy chief of the foreign department Bishnu Rijal told Setopati.
