Foreign Minister Pradeep Gyawali has said the government does not accept any kind of military activities that can bring division among countries.
Addressing a program on the Belt and Road Initiative in Lalitpur on Sunday, he stressed that Nepal has adopted a foreign policy of not having animus with any country. He claimed that the country's foreign policy has been moved forward putting national interest at the center and assured that the government will not waver from that.
He clarified that the government can have debates with countries like America, China, India and others, but will not seek animus with any of those countries. .
He revealed that the government is preparing to construct Nepal-China Cross-border Economic Zone to spur economic activities paying attention to the trade deficit with China. He added that the government also intends to accelerate the campaign for prosperity by attracting foreign investment.
