CPN Chairman and Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli has met another Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal following the former's return from Singapore.
Dahal reached the PM's residence in Baluwatar immediately after Oli returned from Singapore. Dahal enquired about Oli's health during the meeting, according to his secretariat. Dahal also briefed about recent political developments, the party works completed in Oli's absence and the remaining works.
Oli had handed over executive authorities of the party to Dahal allowing the latter to operate the party and complete remaining works of unification before leaving for Singapore on August 22.
Dahal convened one secretariat meeting and appointed deputy incharge of some sister organizations and inducted four new central members. He also issued an intra-party instruction.
CPN General Secretary Bishnu Paudel was also present during the meeting of chairmen.
Dahal, meanwhile, visited Agriculture Minister Chakrapani Khanal who is being treated at Grande Hospital for dengue since Wednesday.
