Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli has returned from Singapore on Friday.
Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR) Krisha Bahadur Mahara, Deputy PM Ishwore Pokharel and other ministers welcomed PM Oli at the Tribhuvan International Airport.
PM Oli, who had left for Singapore on August 22, has returned after 15 days of treatment at the National University Hospital in Singapore.
His personal secretariat has claimed that he is returning after full recovery.
The ruling CPN had invited reporters at the TIA for coverage but PM Oli did not respond to queries by the journalists.
CPN General Secretary Bishnu Paudel and proposed vice-chairman Bam Dev Gautam, who had gone to Singapore to meet Oli, also retured with the PM.
Bishnu Rimal, the PM's chief political advisor, and the PM's personal doctor Divya Singh Shah, who had accompanied Oli to Singapore, had already returned home. PM's wife Radhika Shakya and personal secretary Rajesh Bajracharya also returned Friday.
PM Oli underwent plasmapheresis seven times while in Singapore.
Plasmapheresis is a term used to refer to a broad range of procedures through which blood components are filtered outside the body. It is likely that the procedure has been done on PM Oli, who had a kidney transplant 12 years ago, to remove antibodies for immunosuppression.
PM Oli had left for Singapore on August 22 just 10 days after a nine-day stay at the hospital there.
