Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli will go to Singapore for follow-up on Thursday less than 10 days after returning from there.
PM Oli's secretariat, that had earlier refuted news reports about his Singapore visit, has confirmed that he will leave on Thursday. " A few new medicines were prescribed during the last trip. He needed to go for investigation on the effects of those medicines but the time was not fixed. He will now leave for Singapore on Thursday," a Baluwatar source confirmed.
National University Hospital of Singapore had advised Oli to stay a bit longer to check the effects of new medicines but he returned last Monday completing his nine-day visit saying he would return later.
Oli intensified meetings after returning from Singapore and took some major decisions related to the ruling CPN. "Cabinet meetings on Sunday and Monday also decided to move a few stuck files related to development works," a Cabinet source told Setopati.
He has also called secretariat meeting Tuesday afternoon to complete remaining works of unification.
A leader close to Oli claimed that he made some important agreements before flying to Singapore to ensure that important government and party works are not stuck due to his Singapore visit.
