Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli has left for Singapore Sunday night for his routine health checkup.
Responding to journalists' queries at VVIP lounge of the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), PM briefly responded that he was heading to Singapore for his health checkup.
PM Oli is accompanied by his spouse Radhika Shakya, Chief Political Advisor Bishnu Rimal, and private doctor Dibya Singh Shah, among others, shared PM's Press Coordinator Chetan Adhikari.
The PM was seen off by National Assembly Chair Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, Deputy Prime Minster and Defense Minister Ishwore Pokharel, Home Minster Ram Bahadur Thapa, Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Gyawali and NCP general secretary Bishnu Poudel, among others at TIA.
The PM will have his health checkup at the National University Hospital, Singapore. PM Oli, who had undergone kidney transplant 12 years back, is on regular follow-up. Earlier, he had the follow-up in Thailand.
PM's checkup begins from Monday, and he is to stay at the hospital for a week. He is scheduled to return home next Friday. (
