The parliamentary hearing committee on Monday has unanimously endorsed four persons recommended for the post of ambassador.
Chairman of the committee Laxman Lal Karna said Mahesh Prasad Dahal recommended for Australia, Narad Bhardwaj for Qatar, Dava Futi Sherpa Spain and Bansidhar Mishra Bangladesh have been unanimously endorsed.
The committee had conducted hearing of the four persons earlier on Monday.
The government had recommended the four after agreement between Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli, CPN Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal.
Dahal was appointed chairman of Nepal Television by the Nepali Congress government four years ago. Minendra Rizal, the then minister for information and communication in the Sushil Koirala led government, had appointed Dahal who did student and youth politics from the NC.
He had entered CPN last September only.
Mishra is a former health minister and promoter of the Manmohan Medical College, and is close to Nepal.
Sherpa, 34, is daughter of the first Nepali woman to ascend Mt Everest late Pasang Lhamu Sherpa. Dava's uncle and Pasang's brother-in-law Ang Tsering Sherpa, who was recently killed in chopper crash along with the then minister Rabindra Adhikari, was very close to PM Oli. Dava had returned to Nepal only recently after completing study in America.
Bhardwaj is a communist leader who was jailed for 12 years along with Oli after the Jhapa movement.
