Man arrested on charge of attacking woman on bus with syringe

A man has been arrested from Banepa on charge of attacking a woman travelling on a passenger bus with a syringe. Area Police Office Banepa has arrested Khagendra Prasad Pathak, 34, of Waling municipality-13, Syangja currently residing in Banepa on Monday. The woman retaliated after being pierced with a sharp pointed object. Pathak was standing near the woman. Other passengers thrashed Pathak and took him out of the bus, according to SP with Kavre Police Jaya Raj Sapkota. Banepa Police has started investigation on Pathak. The woman has been sent to Sukra Raj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital in Teku for treatment, according to SP Sapkota.
