The ruling CPN will finally publish the political document that could be assessed only by the two chairmen KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal for the past 13 months.
The two chairmen decided to publish the document on Monday after a meeting at the prime minister's official residence in Baluwatar Sunday.
Dahal revealed so while inaugurating the general convention of unification of Nepal Telecom staffers union. He pointed that a major work of unification has been completed with this, ending confusion about the political line, ideology and procedure of the party.
The last secretariat meeting of the ruling CPN on June 22 was stalled after PM Oli proposed to rewrite the political document and keep people's multiparty democracy as the party's guiding principle in the political document.
The political document prepared by a committee led by senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has kept socialism-oriented people's democracy as the party's ideology incorporating the people's multiparty democracy of the then CPN-UML and the people's democracy for the 21
st century of the then CPN (Maoist Center).
Dahal opposed Oli's proposal to rewrite the document and received backing from senior leaders Nepal, Jhala Nath Khanal and Bam Dev Gautam.
The two chairmen had intensified political consultations and meetings in recent times after facing criticism following revelation of their differences.
