Chairmen of CPN KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal have held consultation to end the recent deadlock in the party.
The meeting held in the prime minister's official residence in Baluwatar Wednesday morning has discussed making the political document public, division of responsibilities among the leaders and Cabinet reshuffle, according to a Baluwatar source.
Secretariat meeting held on Saturday had failed to reach any conclusion after differences on whether to rewrite the political document or not.
Dahal had gone outside Kathmandu Valley after that and returned only on Tuesday. The two chairmen held the meeting after Dahal's return.
Prime Minister (PM) Oli, who has not been seen in public functions in recent times, has been holding discussions with party leaders of different levels at his residence in Baluwatar. Press Advisor to the PM Kundan Aryal said Oli is holding discussion in the capacity of party chairman and looking for ways to solve the disputed issues in the party.
Dahal also has been holding separate meetings with leaders close to him to discuss what their role inside the party will be.
