PM Oli reaches Bara

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has reached the area in Bara district that was ravaged by a storm Sunday night. PM Oli flew to Simara from Jhapa on a Nepal Army (NA) Skytruck and then to the devastated area on an MI-17 of NA. The NA has also sent a team of medics including four senior surgeons to Birgunj. PM Oli has reached Bara cancelling all the programs in his home district Jhapa. PM Oli, who reached Jhapa on Sunday, was scheduled to attend three programs in his home district today. At least 27 persons were killed and over 500 injured in Bara and Parsa districts due to the storm Sunday night.
