Minister Aryal stresses on women empowerment

Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, Padma Aryal, has said that women empowerment campaign would be effective from promotion of women entrepreneurship. At a seminar 'Women Empowerment through Entrepreneurship' organized by Nepal US Alumni Network (NUSAN) here today, Minister Aryal said that the government was active for the women upliftment and development. Saying it was necessary to make women entrepreneur to materialize government's campaign 'Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali', she said that different programs have been launched to make women self-reliant and entrepreneur. Minister Aryal said, "Private sector should make programs as per the necessity of the market and the government should formulate policy in order to help them. Women empowerment and entrepreneurship should be developed in Public-Private partnership."
