CPN Chairman and former prime minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said he discussed reshuffle of the Cabinet with PM KP Sharma Oli Tuesday morning.
"The truth is I talked with PM about reshuffle of the Cabinet this morning. I have arrived here in Biratnagar directly from Baluwatar," Dahal told reporters on reaching Biratnagar Tuesday.
He stated that it is the PM's prerogative to evaluate performance of the ministers and reshuffling the Cabinet, and PM will take a decision on that. "Whether PM will change ministers or not will depend on how he has evaluated their performance," he said.
"PM has said he has been monitoring the performance of ministers. There is no hurry to reshuffle the Cabinet even if that needs to be done," he added. He revealed that he told PM Oli that the PM has the rights to decide if there is a need of reshuffling the Cabinet.
