Chief Minister of the Province-5 Shanker Pokharel has said all the structures in the state would be made disabled-friendly. Inaugurating the First State-level Wheelchair Basketball Championship in Butwal today, he said all the structures to be constructed in the permanent capital of the state would be disabled-friendly. The Chief Minister remarked that the state government was serious towards its responsibility of making the life of the people with disabilities easier. State Assembly member Bishnu Panthi, Butwal Sub-metropolitan City's deputy mayor Gumadevi Acharya, Lion Sunil Ojha, president of Nepal Spinal Cord Injury Sports Association, Baburam Mishra, among the speakers underscored ensuring the rights and interests of all the citizens to make the state prosperous. Twelve teams are competing in the championship jointly organized by Lions Club of Butwal Sayapatri and Nepal Spinal Cord Injury Sports Association.
