NC CWC meet on March 18

A meeting of Central Working Committee of the Nepali Congress is scheduled on March 18. NC Spokesperson Bishwa Prakash Sharma said that discussion would be held in the meeting on contemporary issues including formulation of party's regulation and forming election committee of the party, among other issues. The meeting would take place at 11 am, said Chief Secretary of NC Central Office, Krishna Prasad Poudel. Meanwhile, NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba expressed sorrow over the demise of party's senior leader Jit Bahadur Puri of Jhapa. In a condolence message, President Deuba on the behalf of the central committee, wished for eternal peace of the departed soul as well as extended condolences toward the bereaved family members. Puri became a member of the National Assembly after political change in 2046 BS. "Not only Jhapa has lost its prominent leader. I have also lost good leader and friend," reads the message.
