Police raid Chand's village, one cadre shot

A cadre of Netra Bikram Chand led CPN has been shot in Kapilvastu early Thursday morning when police raided Chand's village. Durga Bahadur Roka was shot on his leg when he tried to flee after seeing the police team at his house in Shivaraj municipality 9, Turnutapur at three in the morning. He is being treated at the provincial hospital in Butwal. Police recovered two submachine guns (SMG), three magazines of SMG and one Chinese pistol from Roka's house. The police team also found a banner with basic military training camp number 2 company printed on it. The police team also raided around half a dozen houses in the village. The locals obstructed the police from raiding the house of Yadav Chand a local school teacher.
