Of the total seven victims in Air Dynasty chopper crash, bodies of four victims have been brought to Suketar Airport.
Chief District Officer (CDO) of Taplejung Anuj Bhandari informed that the bodies of three people were only possible to be retrieved after a heavy snowfall at the crash site. "There were 1.5 feet of snow at the crash site," Bhandari told Setopati over telephone conversation, "We are not able to retrieve the bodies. We will put our effort tomorrow."
Bhandari informed that the bodies that are brought to Suketar will be kept at Taplejung District Hospital. He further said that bodies of all seven victims will be brought to Kathmandu."
He said that the efforts to retrieve the bodies did not succeed as the crash occurred on the hills.
All the seven people on board the chopper including Adhikari, owner of Yeti Airlines and Air Helicopter Company Air Dynasty Ang Tshering Sherpa, pilot Prabhakar, under secretary of Prime Minister Office Yubaraj Dahal, Deputy Director-General of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, Birendra Kumar Shrestha, Authority’s Dhurba Das Bhochhibhoya, and a security guard of Minister Adhikari, Arjun Ghimire were killed in the crash.
