The parents of Tourism Minister Rabindra Adhikari, who died in Air Dynasty chopper crash at Taplejung on Wednesday afternoon, have reached Kathmandu.
They chartered helicopter from Pokhara on hearing the son's death.
Minister Adhikari is survived by two sons and a spouse.
All seven people on board the Air Dynasty chopper including Adhikari, Sherpa, pilot Prabhakar, deputy secretary of Prime Minister Office Yubaraj Dahal, Deputy Director-General of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, Birendra Kumar Shrestha, and a security guard of Minister Adhikari, Arjun Ghimire were killed. Preparations are on to bring their bodies to Kathmandu.
