Adverse weather condition is making airlifting of the seven bodies including that of Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Rabindra Adhikari difficult.
It is snowing now at Fungling-10, Taplejung and the choppers are struggling to land on the hills.
Chief District Officer (CDO) of Taplejung Anuj Bhandari said the bodies have been wrapped and the security persons are tying to tie them to the ropes dropped down by the MI-17 chopper of Nepal Army to lift the bodies up to the chopper.
"The bodies will have to be carried by men if the efforts do not succeed," he stated. He said it will take four hours to manually carry the bodies from the crash site to Suketar Airport.
"Police have already reached the spot. Teams of Armed Police Force and Nepal Army are also going toward the spot," he revealed.
