'Civilized society from conservation and promotion of culture'

Chief Minister of Gandaki province Prithvi Subba Gurung has said that a civilized society can be built only from conservation and promotion of culture. Speaking at a program organized at Dhungesanghu fair on the occasion of Maghe Sankranti Tuesday, Chief Minister Gurung said that the civilizations linked with tradition, festivals, fairs and shrines should be linked with prosperity. Saying Gandaki province is fertile land for religious and cultural tourism, he said it could be linked with economic prosperity. The Chief Minister further said that the Dhungesanghu fair has the special importance, adding that the province government was committed for protection of cultural and religious heritages. On the occasion, Chief Minister Gurung worshiped at Sada Shivaji Harihar Mahadev Temple.
