Leaders of Rastriya Janata Party Nepal (RJP) and Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli are discussing the issue of RJP’s support for the government, constitution amendment and other issues at the PM’s official residence in Baluwatar Tuesday morning.
The Madhes-based party had supported the Oli government after Oli gave assurances about constitution amendment. RJP has lately been threatening to withdraw the support pointing that the constitution has not been amended as promised.
This is the first time RJP leaders are meeting PM Oli after Rajendra Mahato replaced Mahantha Thakur as the coordinator of the chairman council of RJP.
