Coordinator of the Rastriya Janata Party (RJP) presidium Rajendra Mahato has said that the RJP would lend its support to the present government based on its merit and demerit.
Talking to media persons in Biratnagar Tuesday, the RJP coordinator stated that the party would not join the government unless the constitution was amended.
“The party’s support given to the government would be seriously discussed in the party’s upcoming meeting,” he said.
Stating that the government was negligent towards their demand even when it is almost a year since the government was formed, the RJP coordinator urged the government to release the people including Resham Chaudhari arrested by the then government during the Madhes movement.
He also said there was no possibility of unification between the RJP and the Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal (FSF-N).
