Province minister Ghimire stresses on preventive measures against diseases

Province 1 Minister for Social Development Jeevan Ghimire has said that we all should accept that some difficulties have surfaced in the bureaucracy and political aspects to work due to a new system for state restructuring. Inaugurating a three-day health-related review and plans formulation seminar organized by the ministry Tuesday, he expressed his view that some differing views between the people's representatives and employees came to light in a new context would be gradually cleared. As he said, physical infrastructures for medical treatment were developed, but they failed to become serious about the importance of 'preventive measures' against diseases and the time has come to work collectively by the people in health sector towards that end. He insisted on the need of developing the feelings of unity and responsibility by federal, provincial and local levels for the welfare of the nation and people.
