'NC should be strong to save democracy'

Nepali Congress leader Gagan Kumar Thapa Monday said that the nation would be in loss if the NC became weak. He also called for all to unite to strengthen and expand the NC. "Democracy will be in peril if the NC is frail," he said while speaking at a program organized here by the Nepal Press Union, Chitwan to welcome and congratulate the newly elected working committee of the Press Union branch. The NC lawmaker also stressed the need for the NC to play a constructive role as opposition in implementing the constitution and driving the nation toward the path of prosperity.
