Mahato new RJP chairman council coordinator

Rastriya Janata Party Nepal (RJP) has replaced coordinator of its chairman council Mahantha Thakur with Rajendra Mahato on Tuesday. A meeting of the chairman council held at the party office in Babar Mahal, Kathmandu has decided that members of the council will take turn to become coordinator until the next general convention. Mahato has been accordingly handed over the reins effective from Wednesday. The Tuesday's meeting has also recognized the list of central committee members submitted to the Election Commission after unification of six different parties as official, and revoked all nominations/appointments made in the party's organization after that. The meeting also decided to extend the deadline for distribution of party membership for the general convention until mid-December.
