The secretariat meeting of ruling Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) on Monday has ended after top leaders briefed about their respective foreign visits.
Chairman and prime minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli briefed the party about the UN General Assembly and his visit of Costa Rica. Another chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal also briefed the party about his India and China visits, secretariat member Narayn Kaji Shrestha told Setopati. Shrestha, who led a 15-member team to China, himself briefed the meeting about his China visit.
Third-ranked leader Madhav Kumar Nepal briefed about his Ghana and China visits.
Shrestha revealed that the meeting set agenda for the next secretariat meeting. "The next meeting will discuss formation of provincial committees, district committees, next standing committee meeting, effective operation of party and government and other issues that leaders have demanded discussion on," Shrestha added.
The next secretariat meeting has been called for Wednesday.
