The secretariat meeting of ruling Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) called for Sunday has been postponed to Monday morning due to busy schedule of the two chairmen.
The secretariat meeting has been postponed as both KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal are attending a book launch at Rastriya Sabhagriha, press coordinator of Oli Chetan Adhikari told Setopati. Adhikari said the meeting has been postponed due to the delay in the book launch.
The secretariat, the highest body of CPN, has a total of nine members including the two chairmen.
The secretariat meeting has been called to discuss current issues following public expression of displeasure over the performance of government and operation of party by the third-ranked leader Madhav Kumar Nepal in recent days.
The secretariat meeting of CPN was scheduled to be held at the party office in Dhumbarahi for the first time.
