Water Supply Minister off to New Delhi to attend MGISC

Minister for Water Supply Bina Magar left here Friday for India to take part in the 'Mahatma Gandhi International Sanitation Convention (MGISC) ' in New Delhi. The minister is accompanied by deputy director general at the Department of Water Supply and Sanitation, Sunil Kumar Das. The four-day conference is to be organized by the Government of India on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi starting from Saturday where Nepal will present a report about progress in the area of sanitation at home. Ministers of Water Supply and Sanitation from 80 countries will be participating in the event.
