Chairman of Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) and former prime minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal will leave for a four-day India visit on Thursday.
He is visiting in capacity of the chairman of the ruling party, according to his private secretariat. He will meet Indian PM Narendra Modi and leaders of other political parties in India.
He had earlier stated that he is going to India with an agenda of development.
This will be his first political visit to India after the general elections at the end of last year. He will return home on Sunday.
He will leave for China on September 17 shortly after returning from India.
