The Airlines Operators Association of Nepal (AOAN) has raised airfare after rise in price of aviation fuel.
The new airfare will be effective from Tuesday, according to the member of AOAN Prajwal Thapa.
"The airfare has been increased as per the policy of adjusting airfare when there is a fluctuation in price of aviation fuel by Rs 4 or more per liter," he said.
The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) earlier had increased the price of aviation fuel for domestic flights by Rs 5 per liter.
Airfare for Dhangadhi from Kathmandu has seen the largest hike with it being raised to Rs 12,320. It was Rs 12,100 per person.
Meanwhile, the fare to Simara has seen the smallest hike with it raised from Rs 3,950 to Rs 4,010.
