Plainclothes police team arrives at Naya Patrika office

A team of plainclothes police officers has arrived at the office of Naya Patrika.

On Friday evening, a group identifying themselves as police officers arrived at the office looking for journalist Nawaraj Mainali.

Yam Bam, a journalist at Naya Patrika, said that the team had come looking for Mainali, who covers crime investigation and security-related issues.

“A team identifying themselves as police officers has arrived looking for journalist Mainali,” Bam said. “Since he is not currently at the office, discussions are underway.”
