The bodies of 16 people who were caught in the Rasuwa flood have been recovered.
The death toll from the flood that originated from the Tibet region of China on Wednesday morning has reached 16.
According to the Bagmati Province Police Office, 16 bodies were recovered by 2:45 p.m.
One body was found in Rasuwa, nine in Nuwakot, and six in Dhading.
Among those found dead, seven were women and eight were men, while one body could not be identified by gender.
The Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, and Nepal Police are carrying out rescue operations across various locations, while search efforts continue for those who remain out of contact.
